In my administrative roles, I have collaborated with parents and stakeholder committees to enhance educational programs, maintain site safety, and manage budgets. I have also participated in Negotiations teams for both teachers and the District and served on several District Budget Committees. My familiarity with state and federal funding will ensure that our resources are used efficiently to benefit students and staff.​

My Key Priorities:

Hello. My name is Jennifer Zanzot and I would like to serve our community as School Board Trustee for Area 2. With 38 years of experience in the Salinas City Elementary School District as both a teacher and administrator, I am committed to enhancing our schools. Our schools are strong, but to remain competitive and relevant, we must continuously adapt to evolving technology and advancements. As a trustee, I am dedicated to ensuring that we achieve this for future generations.

My background as a former teacher has provided me with a deep understanding of state standards, effective instructional strategies, and diverse curricula. I am passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging good behavior in students. As a bilingual educator, I recognize the importance of embracing students' cultural backgrounds while also equipping them with the English skills necessary for success in a global society.
